• How can I order the Kidpro Safety Net?

  The best way to request a quote or place an order is to send us an Email with a few pictures of the opening(s) you would like to protect, measurements and your country and ZIP code.
  We will then send you the complete non-binding quotation including shipping as well as the ideas and suggestions about the installation.
• Where do you ship the product to?

  We ship worldwide.
• Which payment methods do you accept?

  We accept a simple (IBAN or wire) bank transfer and all major credit cards through Stripe payment gateway.
• What are the shipping prices / options?

  Upon sending us your inquiry, country and ZIP code, we will calculate the best possible (speed/delivery time) solutions for you. We can ship via Eurosender, DPD, GLS, DHL, FedEx or regular Slovenian Post Service. All with tracking number available.
• Which size of the net should I order?

  Please contact us with exact measurements of the opening you would like to protect and a few pictures and we will suggest the correct sizing.

• What is the Kidpro net and how can it be used?

  The Kidpro protective net is used to help protect children from falling from falling from terrace, balcony or through an open window, down the stairs or from a gallery. The net also gives those who are afraid of heights a sense of security. In addition, it protects pets from falling while keeping pigeons and other birds away. It also keeps children from throwing toys and other objects through an open window or from the terrace.
• Is the Kidpro netting system safe and reliable?

  The Kidpro safety net system has been tested, approved and certified by TUV Argentina, INTI (Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial) and AIDICO. It successfully passed the following quality and reliability tests:

  • • Safety standard ASTM F2006 TÜV Argentina
  • • Strength trials to collective mechanical behavior INTI OT (Work Order No. 101/9195)
  • • Comparative trial of impact energies (IRAM NM 298 Rule - INTI OT No. 101/17480)
  • • Ageing trial as per ASTM D 4329 – 09 and ASTM G 154 – 06 rules.
  • • Dynamic trial of soft body impact
  • • Energy absorption capacity of the net mesh as per UNE-EN 1263-1.2004 Section UNF EN ISO 1806:2003 (ENAC)
  • • Static trial of nets endurance as per UNE EN 1263-1:2004 Section 7.4 (ENAC)
• What material is the net made of?

  The Kidpro net is made out of nylon.
• How strong/resistant are the nets?

  The Kidpro net has been certified for the following radial resistance: min. 100kg/m2 for monofilament net.
  No protection net or barrier can guarantee 100% safety in the event of an accident; however the correct use of this product significantly reduces the risk of injury or death.
• Can the net be installed horizontally?

  No. The Kidpro net has been designed and tested vertical installation ONLY. We DO NOT recommend that you install the net horizontally. In cases of such installation, the warranty does not apply.
• Can the net be used to cover/protect the pool?

  No. This would require horizontal installation of the net and we DO NOT recommend such use.
• Can the net be damaged?

  Yes. The net is made out of nylon and can be damaged or cut with a sharp object. It can also be damaged by exposure to fire/hot objects.
• Is the net stil functional if one diamond on the net is damaged?

  Yes and no. The net is manufactured in such a way that damaging one diamond does not affect the functionality of the net. If one diamond is damaged, the tear will not spread, but you should replace the net immediately.
• What is the life expectancy of Kidpro nets?

  The life expectancy of the net is at least 3-4 years.
• Should the net be replaced every four years?

  Highly rated entities such as INTI (Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia Industrial) and The International Construction Institute AIDICO (Instituto Tecnológico de la Construcción), from Spain, have evaluated the ageing process of our safety netting system. The tests considered exposure to sun, humidity, water, extreme cold and hot weather. A durability of cca. 4 years was estimated for Kidpro safety netting system. Ageing tests always considering the worst case scenario, so after that time the net condition should be verified from time to time. You will certainly notice if the net has started to show deterioration signs. In that case the net should be replaced.
• Should anchor strips be replaced along with the net?

  No.
• Is replacing the net expensive?

  No. You can usually replace the net yourself. Only the net needs to be replaced while all the other parts remain in place.
• Does the net require maintenance?

  No, the net does not require maintenance. It can, however, be cleaned with a damp cloth.
• Can the net be temporarily uninstalled (for painting, installing an AC unit etc.)?

  Yes, the net is simply removed from the hooks/anchors and then reinstalled.
• Can the Kidpro protective net system be uninstalled and moved?

  Yes, the net and the anchor strips can be taken down, resized if necessary, and reused. If the net is older than 4 years, we recommend that you replace the net while the anchor strips can be reused in most cases.
• Does the Kidpro net protect against burglaries?

  No.
• Does the netting prevent emergency exit through the window/balcony?

  In case of emergency, the net can be cut with a sharp object like a knife or scissors.

Installation

• Where can the Kidpro net be used/installed?

  The net can be installed on most windows, balconies, terraces, and staircases. If the terrace is not covered, the netting system can be attached to an aluminum frame. The net cannot be installed only when there are no adjacent surfaces to which you can attach anchor strips or the aluminum frame.
• Can I install the net myself?

  Yes, the net was designed for simple installation with the use of basic tools and technical abilities. A detailed installation manual with pictures is included in every package. You can contact us if you have questions about the installation or need any additional advice.
• Is the installation complicated?

  No. The protective net system can be installed in a couple of steps: you mark the places where the anchor strips will be attached, drill holes, attach the anchors to the base and then attach the net.
• Are there cases when it is better to leave the installation to a professional?

  Yes, if the walls you are attaching the anchor strips to are not in good condition or if the frame needs to be installed, it is maybe wise to
• Can the net be installed on an terrace without a cover/ceiling?

  Yes, in this case an aluminum frame needs to be installed prior to installing the Safety Netting System.
• Can the net be attached to the balcony railing without drilling?

  Yes, the anchor strips can be attached to the railing using plastic bindings.
• Can the net be easily uninstalled?

  Yes. The net is taken off the anchor strips and the strips (and the screws) are then removed.
